Was the Titan imortal of difrent kind than the imortal of regular gods, so they cold actualy be killed if somethinh like a god was helding the weapon or by a certain kind of weapon?Did any Titan ever get out of there? I read once that did Chronos but not sure.
Sorry for my bad englich

The Titans were immortal; they were simply imprisoned there, after they lost in the contest with the gods; I imagine they were dragged there and chained by force. Yes, Cronus does seem to have been freed, though of all the Titans you think he would have been the most culpable; he was allowed to rule the Isle of the Blessed, no less, the ?ber-exclusive Country Club of the dead. Anyway, hope this helps!

Wasn`t this an allegory for primaeval forces forming the Earth in the beginnings!? All those Titans of the first generation had little to do with humans. Maybe their story took place before even the humans were created!?

Take a look at the Ragnar?k of Nordic saga. There`s a giant of primaeval fire (BTW Norwegian "etin"= Swedish j?tte = giant) named Surt, who will come back at the "Gottd?mmerung" (German version of Ragnar?k) to destroy the Old World with his fire.

I remember I read once that the mortals in the time of Chronus were men of the Golden Age, they didn't work because the apples growed in a number great enough to feed them all etc. After thes mortals, there were the Silver Humans, I thought the war against Troy was in this time. Hereafter mankind degenrated to Bronze and Iron, but I thought mankind was there even in the time of the Titans. Of course this doesn't exclude the allegoric element in the story
